The Human Behind the Mentor
José Goldner is not a conventional mentor. He is a strategist, an educator, a family man, and a builder of businesses with over three decades of experience.

He was born in Panama in 1971 into a diplomatic family deeply rooted in politics and service. values of discipline, resilience, and service. As a child he lived in Australia where he gained early exposure to diverse perspectives and ways of life. Later, he moved to the United States to attend a naval military academy, and experience that instilled in him the values of discipline, resilience, and service.

After completing his studies in Literature and Philosophy in Ohio, he earned a Master’s in Education. These academic foundations set the stage for a life defined not just by what he built, but by how and why he built it.

Today, José lives between Panama City and the coastal town of Pedasí, Panama—a place where he merges family, mentorship, and nature into one integrated lifestyle

His multicultural background and global perspective have equipped him with the emotional intelligence, leadership capacity, and institutional awareness  to navigate complex systems and educate others to do the same.

The Entrepreneurial Journey
Jose's career began in the wild west of the 1990s internet revolution. He emerged as one of the pioneers of Latin America's digital and telecommunication sector. He was among one of the first to commercialize VOIP internet calling cards in the region, laying groundwork for digital infrastructure long before it became mainstream.  

He later launched a digital legal-tech platform offering intellectual property protection and online company formations—services used by thousands globally. At just 26, he co-founded a telecommunications firm that went public on the Nasdaq, placing him among a select group of Latin American entrepreneurs to reach such a milestone.

But his entrepreneurial journey did not stop at technology.

José went on to develop real estate projects , tourism operations , and sustainable agriculture ventures , including Tuna Coast Properties , Pedasí Fishing S.A ., and Hemingway Hacienda . These businesses weren’t just profitable—they revitalized entire regions, generating over $120M in foreign investment into Panama’s interior. Each project was a case study in ethical , ecosystem-conscious entrepreneurship.
